Im not familiar with tri power carbs... but 3psi seems very low for any carb, is that what the pressure is supposed to be at? maybe something else is causing the fuel seepage?

I do get a slight pinging at WOT under full boost...
I do get a slight pinging at WOT under full boost but none or not audible at 3/4-7/8 throttle or when the boost is under 8-9psi.
This is with normal 91 octane gas, havent tried 93 with 10%...

Guess each car/person has different experiences with parts, I am very happy with the HPS pads and they have zero squeak with very low brake dust...
I have had lots of different pads for these cars...

This particular engine, in his "stage 3 super pace car" does have something wrong with that type of tune... it detonates at part throttle & 6psi of boost so bad that it requires 3-4 bottles of octane...

The XE268 in my .030 400 with milled 6x-4 heads (~9:1) has ran flawlessly for 15+ years, it runs mid 13's at 103+mph taking it easy...
