Help with wire ID's

I am working on installing new engine and front lighting harnesses on my 71 base GT-37. I can't tell from my shop manual what the two plugs below connect to:

Thanks for the heads up on checking the IGN plug. Wouldn't the YELLOW coming from the solenoid be hot 12V? If so should I just stub it off?
