I have the original headlights in car at this time and have installed a relay wiring setup to get brighter lights. Are these style lamps available in halogen bulbs? for a simple swap.

safety should be at top of the list....fix the brakes first or that smoke will be the least of your worries...agree tho about the seals.

single wire internal regulator 100amp...wiring harness from Madelectric works like a charm. Looking at their web site will invest in the harness for the headlights as well. Halogens will be installed...

I installed a Holley 870 and nothing but a headache...thoughts on this carb. First it was running rich plugs soaked...rejet to smaller jets problem solved...now under normal acceleration engine...

i have the same carb on my engine...had to rejet primary's as this carb is a bit much for that engine. Otherwise is runs great. Smaller jets and readjust the idle circuits should be good to go.
