Thanks Mike. It happened 2 weeks ago and still feels like it happened this morning. I had to pull the fender out some to get the drivers door to open.

I also would be open to 70 gto front clip...

noise wasn't the inspection cover after all. pulling the tranny, but suspect from my diagram that the throwout is stuck in the pressure plate, like a finger or 2 of the plate are bent. will know more...

11 inch clutch too if it matters.

Found the noise issue was just inspection cover got pressed in and was rubbing on teeth. Squished it jacking rear of engine to get motor mount bolt started.
