Cant remember,,were those braces standard on manual cars? My gto still has them. I remember something about cross member issues without them?

I dynoed my # 64 headed 455 with 1 3/4" hooker...

I dynoed my # 64 headed 455 with 1 3/4" hooker headers and then switched to RA manifolds with 2.25 outlet dumping into 2.5" mandrel bent headpipes. About 18 HP and tq. difference.
