Ported Victor vs ported NorthWind dyno test

We tested the Victor vs the NorthWind today. Both portedby same guy (Johnny from CFM South), both ran the same 2" tapered spacer and same carb.
I was somewhat surprised by the results.

Just tapped the hole deeper and ran the fitting in further to cover the hole.

Sadly we only got about 1min of idling in before we found the issue (which good, saved the bearings).

100% correct. The exhaust valves were moved .050 over. That is why e-heads come with 1.66 exhaust valves because a 1.77 valve would hit the valve pockets on most pistons that were made in the 90s...

More rpm equals more horsepower. Had to make big horsepower at lower rpm without big ci. Pontiacs are ci limited. Also 7000rpm is lower rpm. With today's parts engines will last forever.
