I've had similar problems and once is was a new oil pickup, but that would get worse when you floor it.

I was reading the thread that 30 degs was good and 45 was chevy bad and I didn't realize it was only for the intake side.

So 30 deg intake valves are cool with 45 deg exhaust valves....
