Thanks all. I'll give it a shot next day off. Replacing fuel pump is cheap insurance, as far as I know it's still the original.

figured it out. the wrong mufflers were installed...

figured it out. the wrong mufflers were installed by previous owner. instead of being offset on both sides of muffler the offset was on one side and center set on rear side causing tailpipe to hit...
