Thanks for the reply. I noticed that the radio knobs on my ‘68 were plastic, but a lot of things on my car have been replaced with aftermarket parts by a previous owner, so that wasn’t definitive....

Metal or plastic knob on ‘68 cigarette lighter?

Did the ‘68 gto factory cigarette lighter have a metal knob (like my ‘66) or a plastic knob (like the new aftermarket ones)?
I bought a used lighter from eBay that said it was “original”, and it has...
