The sprage was overturned and the inner race was welded to the drum. I ordered the center support and will try that. The guy at the tranny place keeps saying it can't be the the trans and keep trying...

The valve body is a full manual with reverse pattern. I have no idea about the seals being removed. The work was done by Competition transmissions.

I keep loosing 2nd gear . the sprag overturns. This happened 4 times last spring and now last week. the car weights 3460 lbs. and has 750 HP runs mid low 10's. the sprag is the heavy duty unit...

I ran for two years track only with a 10:1 400 on 94 octane pump gas no problems at all . when i took the engine apart there were no signs of detition at all.
