My only contribution is related to tongue weight. Typical recommendation is 10-12% tongue weight. In my experience 12-14% is a safe bet. Too light and trailers can sway.

The Parts Place sells the "good" stuff but you need a gun to spray it. It is very durable once cured but has water in it so can only be shipped in warmer weather. I believe Ames sells it as well....

Pushrods are 9.150".

It wasn't all the rockers that touched, just one at each end of the head.

Hello,

Car should be ready for the first drive in a few months. My plan was to take several trips a year with it, which will mean the trunk will have luggage, tools, and who knows what else in it....
