Restored latches

Norwood, thanks for the post. Looks like I have "core" for a '70. What would be the cost to swap this to you for a restored latch assembly for my '71?

Thanks guys - info on the assemblies and the pics are very helpful. I attached a pic of the latch assembly pulled from my 71. Based on Pat's pics, looks like I don't have the correct latch. Mine...

Guys, jumping into this thread with a request - restoring a 71 GTO that had the front end damaged years ago before I bought the car - it looks like the damaged 71 hood latch assembly was replaced...
