Thanks for the help. You were right on track. It seemed so solid that I thought there most be something holding it. But removed the door panel and it cane right out. Thanks again.

Can someone tell me how to get the inside control off the door panel of a 1699 GTO? The book I have shows a square type with 2 screws. The style I have is oval and I can't see any screws or clips...
