I was thinking more along the lines of Car show or press duty - would expect all of the production testing was done at that point.


I wonder if the destination charge was to ship it someplace...

Just to wrap up this story for everyone...my 10 year relationship (almost to the day) with Lucy ended this past fall. The car was traded with Phil Mitchell, for a 69 Trans Am thanks to Gary Riley....

czar97, not sure about the truth of your story but that's a 1972 Michigan Manufacturer's plate - the car companies would get plates with M as the third character & over the years I've picked up...
