Rear trunk emblem install trick

The 326 Lemans emblem on the trunk lid has a small hole to access the emblem studs.
Who invented a tool or trick to install the nuts on those studs? Because my fingers don't fit into holes that...

Sorry photo would not load. Too big of a file. I think the part was about 3/8" in diameter and about 3" long with a bend in it. This is the part the the latch catches to hold the lid down. Again...

The attached photo is the "box" where the trunk lid latch attaches. Inside this "box" is a part that the latch connects to. As you can see - I am missing that part. I lost it in the renovation...
