keep in mind all of these cars are over restored. none came from the factory with all the spoilers aligned perfectly not to mention page long lists of imperfections from the factory.

GOT IT! I pulled one of the retaining clips out...

GOT IT! I pulled one of the retaining clips out (I didn't know they came out) and slid it onto the handle and then pressed them both in together till it snaped secure. Thanks for your help John!
