This is the eternal struggle for many. For a daily driver type vehicle 500 Hp is more than enough in my opinion. For a weekend beast the sky is the limit.

I have HS 1.65 in my race motor with 240# seat pressure when the springs were new and have never had a problem revving to 6800 rpm.

Each flat of the nut raises or lowers the float...

Each flat of the nut raises or lowers the float by 1/16". Note the level of the gas and turn the float down the appropriate number of turns to put the fuel level where you want it and start the car....
