I examined my own trim tag this morning. Noted the "B" is identical to yours.

Much later build, second week of June, 1971.

edit: closer examination shows 4 different colors for tops offered...

There is obviously a goof on the 8 where the upper color is, most likely was supposed to be a "B"..

I thought perhaps the car was a custom order color top, ie from a color offered by Buick...
