Low compression on left cylinder bank

Have stock 65" 389 engine... engine has extreme blow by through valve cover dipstick tube and also smoke under the intake manifold..measured compression passenger cylinder bank has solid 175 psi on...

Exessive Crankshaftplay cause for transmission failure

....is it possibble that to much crank play pushes on the torque converter and further on the inputshaft and make damage inside the autonatic trans mission. I only know it the other way or this only...

Had same problem with butler we only ordered parts that were stock on their site and they took our money and after a few days the told us that some parts are suddenly not in stock....im from oversea...

428 street strip gear

428 with 13 heads 60919 cam rhoads lifters 9.6 compression. 67 firebird 2500 Converter... thought about using a 3.90 gear...for street strip.... if a take or go back to 3.42 ill think i would runner...

So in his case he got 104 when installed dot to dot and if he wants to follow the camcard which says 108 he needs to retard 4 degrees on the crank...

So gach what does that mean now? Was the cam now Advanced another 4 degrees or so installed that it works out 104 or was the cam installed do to dot and the degree wheel shows 104..when it should...

Have a 421 with ramair iv cam..discovered the all 3 tripower carbs have 0.101 needle seat size ..normally the the outercarbs should have 0.68 .stock...its a 64 tripower.... dont know if i should...

Dont know about the spring spec... had to remove them and test the pressure rates....so i know what i got......since i dont have a mechanical cam in the moment only hydraulic in the garage .. ill...
