I added the vinyl top trim to my car as well, but I used double sided tape so as to not drill holes. It is the same tape that they use for new cars and holds very well.

Well the transmission showed up today as advertised. It is the GM 3.06 26-Spline 7020526C model straight from Richmond in SC. I plan on installing it during the first week of March.
