What where you doing with that length push rods...
What where you doing with that length push rods when using a late model head like a 96 casting?
The stock length push rod for that set up is 9.145”.

Well it’s 100% has to be something with the float or the needle hanging up now for some reason since it did not have this issue last year and your other two carbs are fine even though they are not...

With a 4.120” to a 4.150” bore and a 3.750” stroke and a 72 Cc head every 4 CCs will change the compression close enough to a 1/4 point in regards to a street motor .
