All good advise...I was going to swap out the distributor for a Pertronics unit...have someone set it up on a distributor machine, and start looking for race / avv gas in my area... reset the timing...

That's the plan for the weekend...I ordered a new switch, the harness is brand new, I'll disconnect all the ground points on the car...scrape off the paint and reconnect them....
