So I just checked if my stock lines from my '79 fit the '81 M/C this weekend and Dens71TA is correct they are still SAE. as my old M/C lines fit the '81. But yeah the '81 has the M/C to proportioning...

Well from the info I gathered the beveled areas of the rods are supposed to face the crank. Mine are facing in towards eachother. The tangs on the rods are also facing out not in towards the cam.
