Your last picture looks like the directional signal switch pigtail. It is not a clear picture but the ignition switch connector should plug directly into the switch bolted on the base of the column.

I swore that I wasn't going to build any more cars at my age. At 73 I started a 1962 Bonneville and I'm still at it. Every time I do something major I hope I get to enjoy it. Good luck with your car.
