I agree. I've had these opened up with well over 200,000 miles on them, and the gear teeth are as smooth as glass. This is with in-service rear ends on these cars (ones I've owned and customer cars)....

Not impressed with the tooth face surface in photo#2. The wear pattern is even and covers most of the face indicating proper pinion depth setting, but the pitted surface tells me there were fluid...

You're used to driving your GTO with a 2.92 rear and an M20 with a 2.52 first gear. Effective gear in first being 7.38.

Going to a 3.08 with a WR 3.27 first gives you an effective 10.07 gear. ...
