1964 Tempest Chassis Shop Manual

Original used shop manual. Published August 1963.

Considering the age and what it was used for, its in fair condition. Despite the exterior stains, the interior is nice.

I paid $35 on ebay...

The filler neck on the x-over is intentionally the highest point on this system. It's one of those tall machined aluminum necks. It has the overflow valve connected to it and sits about 2 inches...

It's 1/4 flat spring steel. The brackets are inadequate and probably 3/16" folded sheet. They need to be heavier duty. The main cradle bolts to the bottom 3 bolts on the carrier....
