With our 540 IA motor we were seeing the same oil...
With our 540 IA motor we were seeing the same oil pressure dip at decellaration. We installed the Canton 3 quart Accusump and never saw the pressure fluctuation again.

That's correct Brian. Shut the pass off a little early due to hitting the rev limiter. We will put some spray to the fogger in the spring sometime.

Ray, we lifted before the end of the quarter due to hitting the rev limiter. I think the mph will go up if we run all the way through. I also think with some more tuning it may pick up a little more....

60 ft = 1.233
1/8th = 5.402
mph = 129.50
1000ft= 7.058
1/4 = 8.475

Thanks guys, we will rewire the pump with 10 ga wire as suggested. That's easy enough to do. Probably try it again next Friday nite at our local 1/4 mile track. Hopefully we can crack off some 8 sec....
