Pontiac was the last brand to stop civilian production for WW2, going 1 day farther than the next 2 brands. Last unit built ~ 02.10.42.

I'm showing a dealer code change in '68-69 for Russell - maybe they were toying with different names (tho both I list are under 'Russell'). Never saw 'Giant Russ' before.

Not that I think that something is suspicious, but interesting to note the build sheet says 'Russell Pontiac', the window sticker says 'Russ Pontiac' and the owner's manual envelope says 'Giant Russ...

Good thing it'll take all of 2 minutes to gently unlatch those abominable aftermarket fender skirts and heave them straight into the garbage can. Why folk insist on putting non-compatible skirts on...
