Do any of the brackets bolt to the block? No. So, yes the 301 brackets will bolt to any six bolt head. I've done this many of times. I hope this helps.

I don't know how far your in to your swap, but this might help.
I converted my buddy's 1962 Grand Prix w/eight lugs from a single master cylinder to a power dual master cylinder...
