new voltage regulator can be bad right out of the box...first one = GEN light did not illuminate with key to on...second one = GEN light would not go off after start...third one = all good

thanks...I think all 3 should illuminate with key to ON position with car not running...TEMP, GEN and OIL...what about when the key is in the ACC position?
