If you really want to wake up the motor, put on a set of C or E heads ( casting code # ).

Keith Black Pistons are Silvo-lite brand.

Use a belt sander and make it flat. Mount sander in bench vise.
Make sure the bolts are not to long, ( typical problem )grind them down to 1 1/4".
Then screw in just the bolts, make sure they go in...
