If it were my car, I would hold out for a close dated 704, since that is the correct one for your car. They are not rare, just may take a bit to find the date code that works.

Agree with Telly, you have a 69 rear case. The bolt hole on a 70 rear case is in the same location as the one on the right. Also, the one on the right looks to be clocked correctly.
