I am curious Larry if your 327 has the slows instead of shorts? Last I recall HLJ reps did not make short...

I think the PR lifters would have likely held the 200 lbs of seat pressure and 420 at max lift, the evolutions have a smaller diameter plunger, that apparently created issues with too high bleed...

Regrinding an old factory cam will work fine so long as the regrind stays within the original hardening of the core, it will likely last as long as the original. NC is probably referring to Camcraft....

For me using RTV on the valley tray or valve covers always resulted in bad tendencies for extra to get sucked into the oil pump pickup. The Right Stuff does much better and has a much higher modulus...
