Question Which Valley Pan for a 66"

I have 2 valley pans, which one is "more" stock/correct. One has the PCV in the front and the other has the PCV in the rear. Its going on a 66" with a 4 barrel car. See pictures.

On CSI they seem to be able to get the serial numbers off of guns that have been ground ff or is that all movie magic?
