This is how the 66's look like, completely different. The clips mount in a clear plastic bonded attachment to the top boot. No chance for metal scratching the paint.

What am I looking at with the middle screw on the front of this AFB? The ones on either side are the idle adjustment screws but unsure what the middle screw is.

The metal holder clips hold the nylon "snaps" and the only thing contacting the stainless steel is the nylon portion of the clip.

Adjustable polylocks. I finally ended up buying rocker arm oil deflecting clips and adjusted with the engine running. So glad that I did because now I feel that they are correctly adjusted.

I previously had a weak/bad lifter and I kept tightening until I realized that I had wiped the cam. I installed a new cam and lifters and now I'm super cautious that I don't repeat the same mistake.

I set the adjustable lifters on my "66 with 326 HO. and am second guessing that I (77 years old) did them all correctly. Is there a quick way to check all of this?
