Is it pulling a lot of oil into the catch can?
Check the vacuum again, if there is a vacuum leak ( gasket failure )...

Making progress to being whole again
So, what began as a rocker arm failure and was expected to be just a top end issue turned into much more. Of course, dang race cars..lol ..I took the short block out while waiting for the T&D rockers...
