For sure it acts very "mild" in a 455 HO or Super Duty build. It's the smallest HR cam I'd even look at for one of those engines, even at or close to the "low" stock compression........

This has been said thousands of times I'm sure. But, NEVER EVER EVER waste your time trying to get aftermarket HEI advance weights and cams to work! Tried many years ago. Moroso, Mr. Gasket, etc....

At least 10 to 1, wouldn't hurt my feelings if it came out a little higher.
My own 455 with 6X-4 heads was right at 9.97 to 1 and EASILY managed pump gas, even 89 octane and never grumbled much....
