The two digits are the last digits of the part number. 00 is 5950500 Right and Left upper, 98 is 5955498 Right and Left lower.

License lamp gasket

Does anyone know if the white silicone like license plate lamp gasket is reproduced. I believe it fits most GM lines from the early 60s to the 70s. Original part number 5955194.

The reason I believe is the floor of the Pontiac GTO is not the same as the Cutlass or Chevelle at the tail light panel. Some companies sell floors that you have to cut at the tail lights to fit.

As far as I know you need to replace all rubber components and flush the metal lines with DOT 5 before reassembly and adding DOT 5 since they are not compatible with DOT 3.

Legendary sends the material that does not have the grain that the 66 has since it is pressed into it when they do the heat pressed seams. The color will be fine if you match it with you interior.
