Thanks guys,

I got the 15X8 rims with 4" back spacing and a rear sway bar. Did not get the tires yet. Can you guys give me any ideas what I can get away with on the front of the car.

What are the widest tires that will fit on a 68 GTO?

My intensin is to build a well handling street machine. I would like to know what are the widest tires and rims/backset that you have installed and fit on a stock height setup without rubbing?...

Need ideas, what to do with 68’ 350

I have a 68GTO which needs a Pontiac engine, and a 68 Lemons (parts car) with a 350 2 barrel. What would you would do with the 350 to make it a respectable engine for the street, to put in the 68GTO....

I am new at this, proud to join the ranks of GTO owners, recently bought a 68GTO ragtop, and I am afraid to say this to a bunch of poncho guys but it has an Oldsmobile W30 455 in it (I believe 1971)....

I agree a cracked block is not worth repairing...

I agree a cracked block is not worth repairing unless it is not replaceable. I thought that is why they put freeze out plugs in the block. Am I hearing that freeze out plugs don’t really work.

Original Rally II steel rims came in 6 or 7 inch widths. I believe the original rims also had a 4 inch back spacing. Wheels Vintiques makes the same rims and also 8 and 10 inch widths. They make the...
