8K is nothing. Don't waste your money on a new chain. Your chain is not stretched. Its broken in. All chains loosen up on break in.

I agree. I cant believe they still sell those. I once bought a car that had one of those on it. The foam was disintegrating right above the carb from normal standoff. Tossed it like a Frisbee....

The old T3 headlights tested good so I cleaned them up and put them back in. Even though they are 50 years old I trust them more than anything new sold nowadays.
