thanks one thing that came to mind. I've been running the Torco Accelerator Octane booster which has seemed to help. I wonder if it did something to the pump. Also my car set for about 4 months...

Yes I do Darby. How does the volume of my mechanical pump sound. I do have a week battery when cranking. Does it sound like it needs to be replaced too.

I'm running the Carter M6907 mechanical and the Carter P4602 RV set up with check valve and toggle switch. with both on my idle fuel pressure is between 6 and 6 1/2. not sure what it is wide open...

I really like Brad Penn 10w40 in my 400 with 4.10 gears. Even in south texas heat, Brad Penn keeps good viscosity. 20w50 is too thick.
