You can always just buy a pair of new reproduction mirrors that fit the 1969 firebird perfectly. Much easier and they have the right mounting angles.

Can anyone confirm the correct 2 groove water pump pully used on 1971-1972 455HO cars ?

Was it the 481040 XT pulley used on all other V8 of the era or did it have a different part number?

I melted the driver side one on the chassis dyno...

I melted the driver side one on the chassis dyno with Doug's headers. Added a metal heat shield around these motor mounts and no issues since....

1974 had no sculpting (like 1970 to 1973 did) and was same as 1975 and 1976 wheels in size...... but I bet this was sold over the counter in 1975 or 1976.

7/8" master cylinder and go smaller (3/16") on brake line to the rear is my advice going manual. Manual works great when set up right.
