RAIII Engine Rebuild Time

We finally got the time (and the inspiration) to pull the RAIII 400 out of the Formula. It developed a slight bottom end knock when coming back from the 2022 TA Nationals and been parked since then....

I certainly would use the good RA hood you have for your Formula. Who cares if it's technically correct for a '71/'72 Bird. None of my cars are concours show cars and they all have 'incorrect'...

Actually, the '79 W72's custom Comp Cam was ground on a 110 LSA. It made great vacuum and idled very well. The idea was to build cylinder pressure with only 8.1 compression. Here are the specs.
