Before I tore the engine apart it was a daily for about a year, and didnt have any issues so I don't know how "short lived" it would have been. The car has done multiple cross country trips.

It ran fine, but it pushed oil into the air cleaner from the valve cover breather. The cam and rings were planned before the engine came apart.

Good news, the crosshatch is still in all 8...

Good news, the crosshatch is still in all 8 cylinders, but there Is enough oil in the cylinders to pool on the valve reliefs. The pistons were 100 percent clean when this went together

I appreciate the offer but I had to get file to fit rings for the first rebuild so std bore rings won't work. I'm thinking of just selling the car anyways, I've sunk a couple grand and about 2 months...
