My wife just bought me this even though she is a Lego Girl, and she hates Blue cars! After 26 years she is still a Keeper! I haven't seen it yet as I won't be home for a couple more weeks.

With all the snow and cold temperatures here in S/E Michigan, I decided to actually take some time and build the Mega Block T/A my wife bought me a few months ago.
It was an interesting build, took me about 6 hours to complete, kit was only missing 1 part. Unfortunately it is one of the pieces that holds the rear spoiler on. The Hood and doors open, and it has an engine of sorts, even has a rubber band fan belt! |
Looks like it has an LS engine...:p

haha that's awesome...don't take her to the wind tunnel tho 🤡

Very cool

Thanks all, to be fair to the kit it was not intended to be a stock 77-78 T/A as it is a kit of a Matchbox car. I do agree it looks to have a LS type engine. But it does have 3 pedals, the shifter is moveable (But only front & back) the dash is fairly accurate, and it has a CB radio with a hand held Mic. I was actually pretty impressed with it.
I will post some interior picture tomorrow. |

Editing the Pictures I just Noticed the rear plate in Canadian! And French Canadian at that!
But here are the dash and some detail pictures, and while the dash also isn't an exact match to a 77 T/A it is pretty close, much closer than I expected actually. |
An LS car would make sense in k-bec....jokes! 🤡

I ended up finding one of these at a Target a town away and had to get it but the 80 price tag took me back a little.

That shifter handle appears to have a two handed grip, or perhaps it's more than just a shifter. :)

Wow! I did not know the kit was that $$$, as it was a thank you gift from the wife for buying her the 800 mile 2005 Dodge Magnum for her. |
