This website Showing "NOT SECURE" ?

Having trouble getting to website because browser shows "Not Secure".

What's up with that Administrators?

jamesq 01-30-2021 09:56 AM

I have only been using this site for a few months. I use Chrome as my browser and the address line has always had "not secure" before the URL.

I look forward to admins' response,

James Q

I was getting redirected this morning from the site seems it’s been fixed.

salem1912 01-30-2021 11:25 AM

Just got that today also. I just advanced to ignore. I notice that now it has the "https"
https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com -hasn't had that for a while.

The Champ 01-30-2021 12:07 PM

Even when I try using:

https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com

I get redirected to this:

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to forums.maxperformanceinc.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

My computer clock is set to the right time.

Started happening yesterday for me -
can't get here by clicking on a link in a PY email notification .
Using Google Chrome
But can get here using a bookmark, no probo.

" A private connection to forums.maxperformanceinc.com can't be established because your computer's date and time are incorrect. "

Then in bottom right corner there is a button that can be clicked to
Update Date and Time
but thats where the Chinese get you - if you click that :smash:

Same here. Browser says site not secure. Using advanced and accessing site shows "not secure" warning and https either red high-lighted or red high-lighted w. strike-through text.

I don't and haven't had since shortly after the debacle we had when the site was nearly unusable.

If I remember correctly it was explained that the website’s certificate had expired.

Not sure if this correlates but I got this message, 'Dark Web Alert - Compromised Email Address'.

I got it via email from CreditWise. This is the only unsecure site I visit, can we address this?

If it's a matter of funds perhaps we can come together and solve the problem.

I couldn't log in this morning either, just got the site is not secure info. I had to use a different link than what I've used for years, that took me to a sign in page to get back on.

It also had this in the warning message if that helps to figure it out: NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

No issues with logging on. Have seen the Not Secure for over 3 months now.

Stuart 01-30-2021 05:14 PM

I get the message as well, I assume they just need to update the certificate. I'll send a note to the administrator.

I use Chrome and my browser has shown Not secure since I stated in my prior post.

Our browser is Firefox and it is set to https: only.

We get the message below:

HTTPS-Only Mode Alert
Secure Connection Not Available

You’ve enabled HTTPS-Only Mode for enhanced security, and a HTTPS version of forums.maxperformanceinc.com is not available.

Learn More…
What could be causing this?

Most likely, the website simply does not support HTTPS.
It’s also possible that an attacker is involved. If you decide to visit the website, you should not enter any sensitive information like passwords, emails, or credit card details.

If you continue, HTTPS-Only Mode will be turned off temporarily for this site.

What A Revoltin' Development This Is...

Yeah, the same here with MS Edge. I get this every time.......

Your connection isn't private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from forums.maxperformanceinc.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).
NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

I don't have to log in. I just get the above all the time for every move I make in the forums. LOL

unruhjonny 01-31-2021 12:29 PM

I got this for the first time in a LOOOOOONG time when I tried connecting via a subscription notice this morning.
I am using Firefox.

jcruz 01-31-2021 01:46 PM

I'm able to get to this topic, and others using this URL:

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/forums/index.php

Can't get into the Clubhouse no matter what.

I was waiting for someone to bring this topic up. I've been getting it for 2-1/2 days now. I have to proceed through two and sometimes three pages to get to the topic or even to open a photo! Next photo in a series, same process. Need to edit? Same thing of clicking three or four different permissions to open the edit window then the same three or four to submit it. Gets old real quick. I'm using Chrome by the way.

I've been getting the same thing since yesterday. Just started all of the sudden "site not secure"

I have to go to advanced and ignore every time I log in or even just change a page.
