Factory exhaust headers

Hi everyone. My '71 GTO came with after market headers and I'm seriously considering factory headers. I see that several vendors carry them and they seem to be reasonably priced. I could probably pick up a pair of them for about the same price to have my present headers ceramic coated. Has anyone every used these and what are your experiences?? Where did you buy them from?? I think I might lose a little performance with the change, but I'm not awfully concerned about that. Thank you, Carmine.

I think our board sponsor sells them.If not racing the factory Ram Air manifolds are the way to go IMO.Tom

Look at ram air restorations.

OK. Thank you everyone, Carmine.

Ram Air Restorations is another long time Pontiac manifold supplier. Cheaper than 409 repops too Carmine!

Just took a look at them. Interesting. I only saw 4 bolt holes per side. These headers actually seal well with only 4 bolts?? Carmine.

That is how the factory made them.Had them on my 69 judge with no issue.Tom

I'm using the RARE long-branch manifolds. Nice pieces and I like the performance (street only).

I did notice a very slight change in power using RARE manifolds, but can't argue with the sound and seal. I have started having hot start issues, even with the correct heat shield.
