They are slow to respond. What do you need? Most of the items on there you can get from an electrical supply place.
I have most of the docs/manuals too. . |
headlight
am having headlight issues...so dim can't see at all. I see they have a kit specific for a fix. Paperwork-manuals would be nice.

Measure voltage at headlight using a local ground. Then do the same thing with the ground lead on the ground terminal on the battery. I suspect you have a faulty ground. |
What ponjohn said is most likely your situation/cause/fix. Should check that first. Also check your core support to frame grounds.
Most of the docs and stuff are on the tech link on the web site: http://www.madelectrical.com/electrical-tech.shtml 'Brighter Headlights' is the one you are talking about, right? http://www.madelectrical.com/electri...adlights.shtml Bypassing the headlight switch for power and using relays is a great upgrade, and strongly recommend it. I do it now to all my cars when I get them. I also recommend upgrading to at least H4 type lamps, which is fairly inexpensive. On the clone, I used 4 hi/lo units, and wired the hi/lo to be on when on high beam together. If you want a step by step, take a look at my clone build thread (post #71): http://classicoldsmobile.com/forums/...e-project.html . |
I talked with Mark a few weeks ago. It took several attempts. Once I got him on the phone, he talked to me for over an hour!
BTW, it took about 2 weeks for me to get what I ordered. |

X2 on faulty body ground. You can use some known good jumper cables for a quick check. Battery ground post to core support or booster/master. And see if there is a change.
Or it,s just low voltage from battery/alternator. |
