Was funny to hear people (adults) signing up to win the keys for a day to the “Weiner Mobile” singing the “Oh, I Wish I Was An Oscar Meyer Weiner…”

I don't know how many of those things were on the road back in '88, but I was 19 that summer and I "borrowed" the license plate from one of them and I still have it (for some odd reason).

There was one here for the 4th of July parade,I snapped a couple of pics of it,I'll try to post those pics if I get some free time later.

I had some pics of an older one somewhere too,probably when I had a film camera,so those are in a box somewhere,had'nt gotten around to scanning all my old pics.

Still like to see the weinermobile out there,even though I never really was a hotdog kinda kid/guy,my older brothers all liked them more than I did.

It's just a cool piece of car art IMO...

I was with the 52 wienermoble last weekend, at the Henry Ford Museum. That's my R2 unit in the picture, getting a hug from a new friend.
