I just got my tickets and hopefully I win cause Im taking a long vacation away from this cold weather!!! Hopefully someplace warm!!!!

I play now and then .... it allows me to at least dream for a day or so.

I'd get a place out west, some horses, nice private motosports area. Have a list of people who's lives I would try to make better.

I would allow myself to order power windows on my next vehicle despite what my Father always taught me.

My next truck would be extended cab instead of regular cab.

I'd buy my wife a new vacuum.

I used to buy Power Ball and the Megas Millions tickets but quit. If there was only one ticket made and I had it, I still wouldn't win. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. ;) LOL

Tho I did come close once.... I had 2 numbers on a Power Ball ticket.... and that's as close as I ever got.

Dataway with remark like you'll probably need to buy a new wife. Lol
Actually the first thing I would do is pay off my existing mortgage THEN start shopping for the new house

I said I'd play until I got 5 numbers correct. Well I bought five tickets (requested 1 ticket with specific numbers and the rest computer generated) and the girl screwed up and gave me all 5 with the same powerball number of 16. The power ball that night was 16. I won 5 numbers and figured that was my sign to walk away. I made a few dollars playing the lottery, but just entertainment dollars--very few.

First, I'd set up my surviving son and daughter with enough bucks to get through their lives, then put up money for college for eight grandchildren. The chances are that I will not be around long enough to see them graduate, but... Then, give some to my rels. Next, begin planning the new home in NY, and a winter home somewhere warmer. Then comes the order for the V12 Ferrari - possibly a "his and hers" set, and a few Pontiac collectables. I was wondering what it would be like at a time when the price of everything would not matter.

There's only one correct answer. Hookers and blow.

eaglesan13 02-11-2012 06:41 PM

I would need a bigger garage, that is for sure.

You don't want to reverse the order of hookers & blow. That's for sure.

A group of 50 at work have started kicking in 10.00 apeice for the powerball. last week we got 50 bucks so we role that in to the tickets for the next week. I figure I can afford 10 bucks and my odds ar a bit better. Oh yea and if I won Lots of hot rods for me and some diamonds for the wife!!

I've probably never bought more than $10 worth of lottery tickets in my life, and it was always when I was traveling out of state. It was a novelty more than anything else.

Quite a few years ago, I received a very official looking letter in the mail and had to sign for it. It said I had recently entered a sweepstakes and I was one of the winners and would be contacted soon. The only sweepstakes I could remember entering was Publishers Clearinghouse, so I got rather excited and was left to stew on it for about a week.

I was contacted and an appointment made early Saturday. The prize was about $50 worth of seeds, and it was more of a sales call than anything else. After stewing for a week, I was thoroughly pi**ed and threw the guy out.

Start a company to manufacture low volume restoration parts that no one else will do. Should be able to lose money for many many years.

Great Philo I you win I guess we'll see on the Ferrari forums!

fyrffytr1 02-11-2012 09:13 PM

I'd put it towards my Sears charge account, as far as it would go! I bought a set of tires and rims back in 1978 for $650.00. Been making the minimum monthly payment and have it down to about $1,800.00 now!:D

afx421 02-11-2012 09:28 PM

Set-up my mother and siblings with enough money to choke a horse.

Give a bunch to my local church and charity.

Move the hell out of MD and buy a place where there are no state income taxes, no minorities (so crime is low), and my 2nd Amendment rights aren't infringed.

Never work another day, and build all the toys I've ever wanted.
